Designed specifically for the 2026 Holidays, this bundle includes three NEW Pocket Buddies patterns: Santa, Elf, and Reindeer. One of this summer's bakery items are Lemon Poppy Seeds Scones. Unlike muffins, which are laden with butter and sugar, scones are a bit fluffier, drier and rely on toppings and add-ons for flavor, while also cutting down on calories. In "the bakery" for week ending June 6 are these scrumptious Hazelnut Mocha Sweet Buns. Made from scratch and topped with pearl sugar, these soft buns deliver a variety of complementary flavors. Warning - there's no lack of sugar or fat in these bad boys; stopping at just one bun will be difficult.

Open again for the 2026 season, we're back in the kitchen trying out new recipes. We'll always feature cakes/cupcakes, breads and macarons, but we're working on new suprises as well. Spring and summer recipes are being tested and published. We're starting with a delightful little cake featuring a whimsical Bunny cycling through town on his way to spring celebrations. The cake/cupcake toppers will be available for download shortly along with the step-by-step directions on preparing and decorating your own cake using a simple boxed mix and prepared frosting.

You can easily create the Arctic Fox if you already have the original Pocket Buddies pattern and Raccoon (No7). Simply knit him up in all white, choose your sweater ( shown is included in No4 ) and add the tail from the Raccoon. Voila!

My goals for 2026 include a commitment to publish one new Pocket Buddies pattern each month. So, for January I'm pleased to introduce you to the newest Buddy - Raccoon. He's much more detailed than the version in the original pattern and even includes a big fluffy tail - WHICH CAN ALSO BE USED ON THE FOX AND WOLF. How great is that! Raccoon is in the shop now and ready to download.

Through January 15, 2026, follow along as we make a Christmas/Winter Bunny. This is a modification of Pocket Buddies No2 that includes the hoodie and a snowflake stitch chart. The Program/Modification is FREE, sign up at " the press desk " on the French Lavender Home website. You'll need the basic pattern (Pocket Buddies No2) which is available in the FLH studio, Ravelry and Etsy to complete the project.
