A Pocket Buddies pattern features BEARS with a modification for a smaller cute-as-a-button Koala Bear.
 
This quick and simple knit is worked flat on straight needles using basic knitting stitches. Two ears are added after the body is knit, then shaped. Two options are provided for adding a sweet face.

Cast on/bind off
Knit, purl
K2tog
P2tog
Mattress stitch/seam
 
Project yields a 4”-6” doll depending on the yarn weight and needle size selected.
